DanaInfra Nasional Berhad Successfully Issued RM2.5 billion IMTN under its RM13.0 billion Sukuk Programme

DanaInfra Nasional Berhad (DanaInfra) successfully issued RM2.5 billion IMTN under its RM13.0 billion Sukuk Murabahah Programme (Sukuk Programme) recently. This Sukuk Programme is irrevocably and unconditionally guaranteed by the Government of Malaysia.

The issuance of RM2.5 billion recorded an over-subscription rate of 2.22 times and Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad (KIBB) played a significant role in the book-building process that was closed on 4 September 2019. This is the 3rd time KIBB is involved in DanaInfra strategic fund raising exercise.

This issuance comprises of 6 tranches as below and proceeds from the issuance will be utilised for, among others, construction costs and progressive payments to contractors, operating and transactional costs and expenses as well as financing costs in connection with the Pan Borneo Highway Project.
