DanaInfra Nasional Berhad Successfully Issued RM3 billion IMTN under its RM13 billion Sukuk Programme
We are pleased to announce that DanaInfra Nasional Berhad (DanaInfra) has made another successful issuance of RM3.0 billion in nominal value of Sukuk Murabahah under its Sukuk Murabahah Programme (Sukuk Programme) that is irrevocably and unconditionally guaranteed by the Government of Malaysia.
Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad (KIBB) played a significant role in the private placement and book-building processes and was instrumental for the success of this transaction. This is the 2ⁿᵈ time KIBB is involved in DanaInfra’s strategic fund raising exercises.
The issuance of RM3.0 billion, which consists of private placement of RM2.0 billion and book-building of RM1.0 billion with an over-subscription rate of 2.77 times were closed on 23 January 2019 and 24 January 2019 respectively. Proceeds from the issuance will be utilised to finance, among others, the construction costs and progressive payments to contractors, operating and transactional costs and expenses, as well as financing costs in connection with the Pan Borneo highway Project.
